The TEIN Basic Damper incorporate all of TEIN’S engineering features of valve/piston and shaft design with no compromise on quality. Electronic Damping Force Controller

Control dampening force from the driver's seat!

This innovation makes it possible for the driver to control the damping force at the touch of a button while in the driver’s seat. This is accomplished by controlling stepping motors installed on each shock absorber. This helps the driver to adjust the suspension to suit all road/track conditions. The EDFC Concept:

• Easily controlled from inside the vehicle. Gives the ability to adjust damping force at the driver’s seat and not have to lift the bonnet or remove internal plastic covers and speakers.
• Memory contents are easily recalled. The EDFC can store up to three settings for the driver to save preset damping and vehicle control settings, similar to radio station presets.
• Compact in size. TEIN has made the control unit quite small at _ din size (W90mm x H26mm x D101mm) to make installation easier and in close proximity to the driver for ease of adjustment.
• The EDFC kits come in various stepper motor sizes to suit a variety of vehicles. These kits come with the EDFC controller, 4 x stepper motors with all wiring labelled and connectors attached to make for easy installation.
• Safety Compliance. EDFC is developed to meet applicable safety standards. For safety reasons, it is NOT recommended to adjust damping forces whilst driving.

TEIN performance bars are available front and also rear on some vehicles to get the maximum chassis stiffness without the cost of a race car build up. To achieve the best results in chassis and suspension dynamics the ability to have zero chassis flex is the ultimate aim in this suspension tuning.

By increasing body rigidity to stop the flex and twist that occurs whilst driving, the TEIN Performance Bars will bring out the full potential of your suspension by minimizing alignment angle change and allowing suspension to work the way it should.

This high quality reinforcement part is made of selected material under world class quality control and can be fitted with ease to most vehicles. These come in to two different types with the oval alloy bar being the most common and a round adjustable alloy bar version for vehicles with size restrictions and for ease and simplicity of fitment. TEIN Pillow Ball Tension Rods

The rubber bushing of the OE tension rod has been replaced with pillow balls (NWB: spherical bearing) in all TEIN Pillow Ball Tension Rods. This was designed to eliminate toe changes through compliance of acceleration or deceleration. The strength of the rod allows only for vertical movement by lower arms. It also reduces the roll at corners and creates quicker steering response. In addition, the wheel alignment (caster angle) can be adjusted.

Pillow Ball Upper Mounts

TEIN Pillow Ball Upper Mounts are designed to offer greater feedback for driving sensitivity. An NWB spherical bearing is used, which replaces the OEM rubber mount, to improve tyre grip and reduce the forces that change wheel alignment. In vehicles with front strut type suspension, an adjustable camber plate is available to correct the camber angles in the front of the vehicle. Pillow Ball Upper Mounts are included in TEIN kits as standard where applicable, as listed in the TEIN catalogue.

Bonnet Damper

The compact and lightweight Bonnet Damper is designed to eliminate the OEM bonnet stand. This allows for more workspace under the bonnet as it eliminates any obstructions. The Bonnet Damper also makes opening and closing the bonnet quick and hassle free. TEIN Bonnet Dampers are especially useful on vehicles equipped with large OEM steel bonnets, and in windy situations to provide more stability.
